Welcome to Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! If you are interested in learning 100% pure Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu direct from the source, then you have come to the right place.

Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is widely recognized as the premiere training center in the New England area for authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. BBJJ academy traces it's roots directly back to the original Gracie Barra academy located in Barra da Tijuca, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil owned and operated by Master Carlos Gracie Jr the son of Carlos Gracie, the late founder of Gracie/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Whether your goals are to become more physically fit, start a new hobby, compete in tournaments, learn mixed martial arts, or just train to have fun, you will find it all and more at Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  The family at BBJJ will help you achieve your goals, and have fun while doing it.  The mission of the academy is to train as a family, have fun, and to help bring out the best in the students.

One of the biggest differences between Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy and other Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools is the method of instruction, and the curriculum used to help develop beginning students.  One of the hardest things for new students to grasp is the myriad of positions and techniques available to them.

The methods used at Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu help overcome this barrier, and break lessons down into building blocks that create a path to success.  This difference is one reason why the students at Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are so successful.  Another fact that makes Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a desirable training center is the number of advanced students, and black belts available to answer questions and help you with your BJJ training.

Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu's overall success can be directly attributed to the teaching methods, black belts, and students.  These  are what make it the best academy in the area to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
